I have a real passion for assisting people & creating the special occasions people dream of.
Telling your story, to your loved ones, in the way you imagine means I need to get to know you.
I love to listen and chat, bonus if there is a good cuppa or wine involved!
No two ceremonies are ever the same and it is my role, plus, joy & passion, to create a personal and unique ceremony for you making sure to incorporate any elements with meaning to you and your loved one.
A little bit about me.
Originally from Basingstoke, UK. I have been in Australia since 2010 mostly on the Gold Coast. I love the QLD weather and lifestyle.
My husband, of over a decade, and I have two amazing IVF children so I totally understand the journey plus the ups & downs of parent life!
Since having my beautiful children, and as I approached the big 40, I had time to refocus, study and embark on this exciting side of life.
I truly cannot wait to assist many more couples and families as they embark on and celebrate such special life events.
Wedding & Events Expert
Although I may be only a few years into the celebrant biz, I am
well-experienced in the industry, coming from a Wedding and Event Planning, coordinating, and MC-ing background spanning across 25 years!
Yes! That’s right, I worked my first wedding reception in a UK hotel at 15 years of age and even before that, as a young girl, I sang in the local church choir.
I have had the honour of being a part of hundreds of weddings and celebrations of all types over the years and thoroughly loved every second of them all.
Now I would like to be a part of your day.
Background
I have worked in several hotels in the UK, coordinating weddings and events, acting as the Master of Ceremonies, and managing hotel operations. Often, there were 2 wedding ceremonies and receptions taking place on the same day at opposite ends of the property, with me usually running between the two all day! Oh, the memories and stories I have!
More recently, since being in Australia, I had the privilege of working on South Stradbroke Island at a beautiful, unique, award-winning wedding & events venue.
Island weddings, with only water, helicopter, or seaplane access, made for the most amazing bridal party arrivals, that's for sure. The tranquility made for magical experiences and, for me, the opportunity to really be involved in the entire day, coordinating the logistics of not only each event but also all suppliers involved as well as couples and guests.

Fun Facts about me!
- I LOVE chatting, and having coffee or wine is a bonus!
- My family is my world.
- Wedding days give me a real buzz – helping, being there, people watching, the atmosphere, the "I Do's" - can't beat the feeling.
- I used to have a sand phobia! Working at an Island beach venue, 12 hours a day, with sandy toes in shoes sorted that out!
- I am known to a few as a local tour guide; if there is a tourist thing to do, I will know about it or have done it!
- I have a weakness for High Teas; it must be my English genes.
