What is a legals only ceremony
A legal-only ceremony is when you just want to sign the paperwork & be married!
Super stress-free & easy, with minimal words!
Perfect to ensure you are legally married in Australia before on overseas wedding date is taking place or if you are looking to keep the event private.
We complete the paperwork , say just the legal 127 words, then sign to seal the deal in the presence of 2 witnesses, which I can provide if required. This option is for 4 people max, the couple and 2 witnesses plus me of course!
Why not upgrade to a Legals PLUS ceremony & make it a little more special with a few more guests…..this Includes any of the following Ring Exchange, Asking questions, Personal Vows , signing table & 2 chairs, up to 10 people attending & assistance with permit application if required.
Legals PLUS is for up to 10 people, including the couple and 2 witnesses.
The Process
Contact me to arrange our meeting time.
We can meet (in person or virtually), plan a date, answer your questions and complete required paperwork. The Notice of intention to marry, NOIM, requires one month before your ceremony, unless a shortening of time is granted.
With this ceremony you only need to say the legally required sentences then sign the paperwork in my presence and 2 witnesses. I can also provide the witnesses if you would like for an additional fee
This ceremony will take 10mins on the day itself.
After the ceremony I lodge all paperwork on your behalf with QLD BDM.
Package Inclusions
Included in your package:
- A meeting in person or virtually to plan and complete all the legal paperwork, including the NOIM
- All paperwork is completed and then submitted to QLD BDM on your behalf after the ceremony.
- Your ceremony will be conducted at the agreed time and place, can be your house, a public place or even a café! Legal Wording said & signing of paperwork only.
- Providing 2 witnesses over 18 years of age if required. $50 extra per witness
- A commemorative certificate will be taken away on the day.
- Travel with 30kms of Pacific Pines (Gold Coast - QLD) included
Included in your Legal PLUS ceremony......All the above mentioned plus
- Up to 10 people in attendance, including the couple
- Assistance with any permit application for park or beach (applicable fees extra)
- Your Choice to personalise to include Ring Exchange, any Asking questions, Personal Vows
- Signing Table and 2 chairs
- Small blue tooth speaker to play some music
Investment
This intimate Legal only ceremony is
Monday to Friday for $425
Saturday or Sunday 9am-12noon for $525
Legals PLUS
Includes Ring Exchange, Asking, Personal Vows , signing table & 2 chairs, up to 10 guests & assistance with permit application if required.
Monday – Friday $550
Saturday, Sunday $650 between 9am and 12noon
Providing of 2 Witnesses $50 extra per witness
